Friends Select is accredited by the Pennsylvania Association of Independent Schools (PAIS) and is affiliated with the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS), Association of Delaware Valley Independent Schools (ADVIS), the Friends Council on Education (FCE) and Center City Independent Schools (CCIS). Rose Hagan, head of school at Friends Select, is a former president of the PAIS Commission on Accreditation and continues to serve on the boards of PAIS, FCE and ADVIS.  
 

Friends Select was a founding member of the Parkway Council Foundation, a group consisting of the leaders of the institutions lining the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. Head of school Rose Hagan currently serves as treasurer of the Parkway Council.  Rose also is vice president of the board of trustees at the Envision Peace Museum in Philadelphia.
