If your child has a psycho-educational evaluation report: We welcome but do not require copies of the report as an added component of the application process. (If an applicant is accepted and if we have not already received a copy of the report, we require the report at that time and before enrolling in order to determine if the student is eligible for the kinds of accommodations our program is able to provide. It also serves as a useful tool in assisting the student during his/her first year at Friends Select and beyond.) |
|
Specific to Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten Please note: Applicants for pre-kindergarten must turn age four before September 1 of their pre-k school year; applicants for kindergarten must be age five before September 1.
Schedule a time for the applicant to attend a pre-kindergarten or kindergarten Play Day (three options for each listed below). The parent interview must be held prior to the Play Day.
Please ask the current teacher (school year 2010-2011) to send us the Teacher Recommendation form one week to 10 days prior to the Play Day. We want the most up-do-date perspective from the child’s current program. |
