| Twenty-five to thirty percent of families at Friends Select School receive some form of financial aid. Financial aid grants are awarded on the basis of a family's demonstrated need and are employed using objective standards established by the School and Student Services by NAIS . The Friends Select School Financial Aid Committee uses this information to determine grants based on the committee's own guidelines and priorities. |

Families who are members of the Religious Society of Friends. |

Friends Select School families applying for renewed financial aid. |

Friends Select School families who are first-time applicants for aid. |
| 4. |
Families who are new to Friends Select School. |

As a matter of policy, the school's Financial Aid Committee does not provide grants for children entering pre-kindergarten.

Financial Aid Application Process
Families applying for aid using traditional hard copy must complete the Parents' Financial Statement (PFS), available from the Admission Office in mid-November 2010, and mail it to:

In addition, families must send a copy of the 2010 Federal Income Tax Form 1040, including all schedules, to the Business Office by March 15, 2011.
Financial Aid Application Dates for School Year 2011-2012
New Students: Financial aid applications for new students must be completed and sent to the School and Student Services by NAIS by January 7, 2011. Applicants meeting this deadline and who were accepted by the admission committee in late January will be considered in February with financial aid decisions announced in mid-February.
Current Students: Financial aid applications for current students must be completed and mailed to the School and Student Services by NAIS by January 7, 2011. Decisions for applications in this group will be announced by the end of February. |
