| Twenty-five to thirty percent of families at Friends Select School receive some form of financial aid. Financial aid grants are awarded on the basis of a family's demonstrated need and are employed using objective standards established by the School and Student Services by NAIS . The Friends Select School Financial Aid Committee uses this information to determine grants based on the committee's own guidelines and priorities. |
| Priorities for Aid: |
| 1. |
Families who are members of the Religious Society of Friends. |
| 2. |
Friends Select School families applying for renewed financial aid. |
| 3. |
Friends Select School families who are first-time applicants for aid. |
| 4. |
Families who are new to Friends Select School. |
|
As a matter of policy, the school's Financial Aid Committee does not provide grants for children entering pre-kindergarten.
Update for potential applicants to Kindergarten through Grade 12: please note that it is now no longer possible to complete the application process in time to be considered in the first round (January) of admission decisions. We continue, however, to welcome applications at all grade levels on a “rolling admission” basis. This also means that in all likelihood financial aid will not be available to applications received at this time and completed in February or later.
Update for potential applicants to pre-Kindergarten: applications completed by the February 3 Play Day will be considered late first round. Note that there is the possibility that an acceptance will be for a space in the wait pool. We encourage you to apply, however, as we have typically gone to our wait pool in the past. |
