The value of a Friends Select education is incalculable. The actual cost of educating a child, however, is indeed measurable and escalating quickly. Tuition provides 80 percent of the school's operating revenue. To fill the gap, Friends Select relies on income from the endowment and on contributions from the extended Friends Select community.

Many alumni/ae, families and friends have made contributions to the Annual Fund a philanthropic tradition. These gifts from members of the Friends Select family weave a strong fabric of financial support -- providing the school's leadership with the financial flexibility to respond to emerging needs.

There are many ways to support Friends Select. Here are a few of the options to make a gift in your own name, in an individual's honor or in memory of a loved one.

Cash Contributions and Pledges
You can make a one-time contribution or pledge an amount to be paid over three years. Either option may provide a charitable deduction.

Securities
Appreciated stock may be transferred electronically to Friends Select, offering you two benefits: a charitable deduction and elimination of capital gains tax on the asset. Planned Giving and Bequests
You may designate a specific amount or percentage of your estate for Friends Select by including instructions in your will. You will become a member of the Wetzel Society of Friends Select School. Charitable Gift Annuities

Corporate Matching Gifts
Matching Gifts - If you work for a company that matches gifts to schools, your contribution to Friends Select may be doubled. We will give you full credit for both gifts. For example, if you give $500 to the Annual Fund and your company provides a matching gift of $500, we will list you as a member of The Benefactors Society. Please ask for forms in your benefits office.

Volunteering
Parent, Grandparent, and Alumni/ae volunteers are welcome. Over the years volunteers have proven to bolster many programs here especially the annual fundraising auction.
