Dear Families, Thanks to the participation of our dedicated families, the Parent Association is able to host many community activities through out the year. Below is a description of our two largest events, which are made possible because of your generous support. Please fill out this volunteer form if you can give any amount of time, resources, expertise, or enthusiasm. We look forward to working with you. -Parent Association Annual PA Auction The auction is the largest PA fundraiser and social event of the year. It features an online, silent, and live auction. In order for this to be a successful event, we reach out to our entire parent body for support and help. We need your assistance with soliciting donors for auction items, decor/set-up/clean-up, data entry and promotion. We will have regular auction committee meetings starting in the Fall. The first meeting is set for Thursday, October 7th at 8:15 a.m. in the PA Room. To volunteer, let us know how you can help, contact Molly Mullahy, director of parent programs.
Scholastic Book Fair
This year's Scholastic book fair is just around the corner. We need parent volunteers to help us run this annual event at Friends Select School. Your responsibilities will include working the register, helping students pick out books or you can help us set-up. This is a great opportunity for you to meet other Friends Select parents and help the parent association at the same time. You can sign up for one shift or as many as you like. If you are interested in volunteering for this year's book fair, please email Molly Mullahy, director of parent programs.
