Watch out, sports fans! Eli Kowalski, father of senior Zach, has written a new book about the Philadelphia Eagles. Looking Back: 75 Years of Eagles History: Special Edition was published in September 2008 and is available through Barnes & Noble or the Philadelphia Eagles Web site. Kowalski has been busy on the book-signing circuit, averaging 3 to 7 appearances at local book stores since the beginning of 2009. His first book, Philly’s Sports Challenge: Eagles Edition, was published in 2006.
The Friends Select view book won an honorable mention in its category from District II of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), an international organization for professionals working in alumni/ae relations, communications, fundraising, marketing and other areas. Produced by Colleen Puckett, Friends Select’s director of marketing, the new publication introduces the theme “At the Center” and features dramatic black and white photographs, plus quotations and text that capture the essence of the Friends Select experience. Commenting on the view book, the judges said it is "serious, dramatic and clearly defines expectations."
