Middle school director Terry Kessel had a front-row seat to the political upheaval in Honduras this summer during a trip for teachers with Heifer International.  Briefly confined to her hotel room in the city of San Pedro Sula, she watched street demonstrations from the balcony.  Terry has returned to school ready to share what she learned about Heifer’s proven model of “food sovereignty” that helps lift participants out of poverty.
