Mac OS X
1. Download and install Remote Desktop Connection Client 2 from http://www.microsoft.com/mac/products/remote-desktop/default.mspx
2. Open Remote Desktop Connection
3. In the Computer field, type remote.friends-select.org
4. In the dialog that pops up, enter your usual FSS username and password. Make sure the "Domain" field is blank.
5. Click OK
6. You may get a dialog that says the identity of the remote computer can't be verified. This is normal. Click Connect.
7. You should be good to go! You may have to use the scroll bar on the side to see the whole screen of the remote computer.
8. When you are done, quit the application like normal. You may choose to save the connection for future use.
Windows XP
1. Go to Start > All Programs > Accessories > Communications > Remote Desktop Connection
2. In the Computer field, type remote.friends-select.org
3. Click Connect.
4. You may get a dialog saying that the remote computer can't be verified or is running a different version of windows. This is normal. Click OK or Connect Anyway.
5. Login using your usual FSS username and password.
Windows Vista/Windows 7
1. Go to Start > All Programs > Accessories > Remote Desktop Connection
2. In the Computer field, type remote.friends-select.org
3. Click Connect.
4. You may get a dialog saying that the remote computer can't be verified or is running a different version of windows. This is normal. Click OK or Connect Anyway.
5. Login using your usual FSS username and password.
