After School Program

Pre-K through 8th Grade

Lower School (pre-k through 5th grade)

Most lower school families enroll in Friends Select's After School Program, which offers an enriching and enjoyable experience for students and convenience for parents. The program is staffed by degreed and highly skilled instructors and provides options that include storytelling, art and cooking classes, instrumental music lessons (for an additional fee), swimming, dance and a quiet homework room. Families find the program highly flexible; they may attend as many days each week as they choose. An early morning before-school drop-off option and a vacation care program when school is closed are also quite popular.

Middle School (6th through 8th grade)

Middle school students who are required to be at school after regular school hours for co-curricular activities may remain at the school until 6 p.m. at no cost. Students who are not required to be at the school after regular school hours for co-curricular activities may remain at the school until 6 p.m. for a nominal fee. Students congregate in the school's dining hall to study, do homework or quietly socialize with friends. Students who remain in the school after school hours are required to sign themselves in and out of the after school program.
