Accessible on most workstations in the school by selecting the Spectrum Patrons Cat or the FSS Library Online Catalog icon on your desktop (look for a big #5 on the icon.)

Power Library
A collection of many databases available at school by clicking on the Power Library icon on the desktops in the library and computer rooms.  Power Library includes full text databases of journals, photo archives, art and music dictionaries, science encyclopedias, biographical databases, poem and story finders. Power Library also can be used from home by using a Free Library of Philadelphia library card.  For information, see Free Library listing below.

Proquest
A database containing the full text of articles from over 1,000 journals covering the arts, history, science, Africa, psychology, physics, computers, world events, philosophy, economics, education, literature, women’s studies, the New York Times and more. The Free Library of Philadelphia Electronic Resources
Are available to all with current library cards (contact the Gray librarians if you need a library card). Electronic resources available include databases on art, biography, business, encyclopedias, health, literature, music and dance, newspapers, philosophy, science, social science, Spanish and many others. Accessible at school or from home at: www.library.phila.gov.

To use electronic resources or Power Library away from school, select Advanced Search at the left of the opening screen; Select Additional Free Library resources; scroll down and select Power Library or another resource.  After a moment, a screen will appear asking you for your library card number (found on the back of your Free Library card) and PIN number OR you can use the FSS card information (see the Gray librarians for this).
