The Friends Select Speaker Series is a regularly scheduled, virtual series that provides opportunities to hear from and engage with the many interesting, talented, and accomplished members of our community. Topics include entertainment, sports, health and wellness, business, social justice, and more. If you are interested in being one of our speakers or would like to recommend a person or topic for the Speaker Series, please contact Julia Greenberger, director of alumni relations (juliag@friends-select.org). The Speaker Series is open to anyone in the Friends Select community.

Join us for our first virtual speaker series event on Tuesday, October 27, 8:00 p.m.  Hear from Nancy Rothbard P'22, '23 as she presents Working from Home: How to Stay Engaged, Motivated, and Connected. 

Nancy Rothbard is the David Pottruck Professor and Chair of the management department at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. She studies how people navigate the boundaries between their personal and professional lives and how technology is changing the way we work.

Helping Students Thrive During Pandemic Schooling

In this Wellness Program presentation, geared to parents PK-12, Dr. Denise Pope of the Challenge Success Program will address concerns that families may have about the impact of remote and in-person learning during the pandemic.
