Fill out your re-enrollment materials online! We are able to hold spaces only with a completed enrollment contract and form, and deposit. The deadline to submit your re-enrollment materials is March 1.

The Civic Discourse Panel Series is coming to Friends Select. Join us on March 5, from 6-8 p.m. More information to follow. 

If you love visiting the STEAM Library, this is the camp for you. In FSS SummerSessions Makerspace Turnover students will be doing all of the fizzy, squishy, sticky, loud, and light-up projects that are just too wacky for a regular day in the library. This class runs from June 25-July 6, and is for rising third and fourth graders. Check it out and enroll

Looking Ahead:

  • Civics Panel Discussion - This panel discussion is a key component of a larger civics initiative for which Friends Select won $25,000 from the National Constitution Center in their first Civics Literacy Contest. A committee of middle and upper school students will be moderating the discussion, whose panelists all represent different perspectives. Our first panel discussion--which will run from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. on Monday, March 5th--will focus on the topic of immigration policy. Thus far, the discussion will feature David Bier from the CATO Institute and Ramesh Ponnuru from the American Enterprise Institute, both in Washington, D.C. A third panelist will soon be joining the list.  

  • Upper School Music Concert - All are invited to dine and enjoy a concert by the Upper School Music groups at World Cafe Live on Monday, March 19th at 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. Admission is free, and we hope you and your family join us for performances by the US Percussion Ensemble, Chorus, and "Guitarkestra," as well as some of our talented student solo musicians. 

  • Upper School Quarter 3 Ends - Wednesday, March 21st (last day of classes)

  • Report Writing Day - Thursday, March 22nd (no classes)

  • Spring Break - Friday, March 23rd - Monday, April 2nd (classes resume Tuesday, April 3rd)

  • Grade 10 College Night - Tuesday, April 10th, 6 p.m. - 7 p.m.

  • Grade 11 Washington, D.C. Trip - Thursday, April 12th and Friday, April 13th

  • Upper School Director's Coffee - Wednesday, April 18th, Grade 9 Parents and Guardians come learn about the college process and meet our college counseling director and associate director.

  • Upper School Musical - FSS Theater presents The Addams Family on: Thursday, 4/19 at 4 p.m., Friday, April 20th at 6 p.m. and Saturday, April 21st at 6 p.m. - Admission:  $5.00
