Friends Select Communication Tools for 2019-20

Friends Select offers numerous tools for communicating with our community throughout the 2019-20 school year. We look forward to connecting with you!

Parent Portal: Here you will find school news, announcements, parent/student and faculty/staff directories, the lunch menu, and other important information regarding students.

Canvas: Our learning management system can be used by parents of middle and upper school students to access student grades. 

School Calendar: Our calendar can be synced to your Google calendar or iCal calendar. You also have the ability to filter by division, and search by date or keyword. Athletic team schedules are also available on the website and can be added similarly.

You are also able to subscribe by text and/or email to calendar categories, team schedules, and news, including inclement weather closings and delays.

FSS Parent Bulletin: Our weekly Bulletin is emailed on Thursdays and features key dates and information about upcoming events by division. You will be prompted to log in to the secure Parent Portal to access the Bulletin.

FSS Newsletter: Delivered by email in September, December, March, and June, the Newsletter includes messages from the head of school, division directors, and athletic director.

Select News: The school's print magazine is published twice a year and is distributed to alumni, parents, and friends of the school.

Social Media: Join the conversation on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to be connected to daily happenings at the school and beyond.

Photos and videos: Photos of students from school events are added to Flickr frequently, and videos are added to YouTube and Vimeo

Email announcements: Parents receive periodic announcements from division directors and the head of school.
