Blauvelt Theatre Project

Friends Select School is embarking on a full renovation project of the Blauvelt Theatre. This space is a cornerstone of the school, and is heavily used by all members of the community. One of the only spaces in the building that can accommodate a large group of people, the Blauvelt Theatre hosts events such as student performances and plays, alumni/ae awards ceremonies, outside speakers and faculty professional development activities.

Renovations will include new seating and improved sight lines and balcony views; a refurbished, larger stage area; and an updated and advanced sound and lighting system. Support of the Blauvelt Theatre renovation project will have an incredible impact on the life of the school and advance Friends Select School to its greatest potential.

For more information on the project, including ways to give and naming opportunities, contact Christine Jefferson, Director of Development and Alumni/ae Relations, at or 215.561.5900, ext. 3141.
