The Benefactors Society is Friends Select School's leadership giving program which recognizes individuals who provide significant annual support to the school.

The exceptional generosity of these donors enables Friends Select to retain talented faculty, respond to the programmatic needs of its students and continue to offer an education that instills values for "the whole life."

We invite you to become a member of the Benefactors Society by making a gift of $1,000 or more to the Friends Select Fund. Benefactors Society members are invited to an annual reception during the school year with head of school, Michael Gary including special guest speakers.

Benefactors Society Reception and Crew Boat Naming Ceremony

Benefactors Society Reception and Crew Celebration On May 31, the Benefactors Society gathered together with the Friends Select Crew team, coaches, parents and alumni/ae to celebrate FSS and name the "Miriam Rachel" and the "Falcon Pride" - two new boats made possible by generous members of the Benefactors Society. Current Parent and Alumnus, Ira Pastor '86, spoke about what motivated his family to make a leadership gift to name the "Miriam Rachel" in honor of his mother who lived a fascinating life, loved the water, her family, and Friends Select. Crew team members Kelly Wu '17 and Ahana Rosha '18 christened the "Falcon Pride," and coach Kathleen Radebaugh thanked them for spearheading the fundraising effort that made the boats possible. Thank you to all who joined us for this lovely occasion at the Vesper Club Boathouse.
