Friends Select’s Spring Fair will feature games, music, arts, free refreshments, and perhaps most importantly, a celebration of our community.

Read about Friends Select students who had the privilege to serve on Mayor Kenney’s African American Historic Statue Advisory Committee convened by the Office of Arts, Culture, and the Creative Economy. Vivien Johnson ’24 and Kate Gunther ’25 participated in the deliberative process to choose an artist who would make a permanent statue of Harriet Tubman to be placed outside of City Hall.

The Big Sibs/Little Sibs program was piloted in a virtual format for less than 10 pairs of students at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. It now enrolls over 35 pairs of Black students, as well as other students of color in the school’s Latine and Asian communities. 

On September 14, Dani Fitzgerald '11 delivered the 9th grade convocation address to Friends Select's class of 2027.
