Tutition & Financial Aid

Friends Select School is committed to partnering with families to make sure they can afford an education at our school.

If Friends Select is the right learning community for your student, we will work to ensure that the cost fits within your family’s budget. In addition to financial aid, we offer three payment plan options to make a Friends Select education more affordable.

THE FINANCIAL AID PROCESS

Friends Select awards financial aid based on demonstrated financial need and the availability of funds. We use the Clarity application to determine your family’s level of financial need based on the information you share on the application, including assets, income, expenses, and debts.

After you create an account with Clarity, the application typically takes less than 30 minutes to complete. The Clarity application is also mobile-friendly so you can complete it from anywhere. You are able to save your progress and return at any time.

At the end of the application, there is a $60 fee to submit, and you can share your application with additional schools that accept the Clarity application for no additional charge. Simply use the dropdown menu in the application to select those schools.

Friends Select also requires you to upload additional tax documentation if applicable to your situation, such as:

  • 2023 W-2s

  • 2023 1099s

  • 2023 tax returns and all supporting schedules

APPLICATION ASSISTANCE

If you need help with your application, there is in-app support available as well as email support in both English and Spanish. The application itself is also fully translated into Spanish.

MULTIPLE-HOUSEHOLD FAMILIES

Divorced or separated parents/guardians must submit separate Clarity applications. Friends Select School considers all resources available to students, so we require information from all parents/guardians and stepparents regardless of divorce, separation, or marital status.
