Honor Josie Whitlock’s memory and legacy by supporting Friends Select students today and for generations to come!

The Josie Whitlock Endowment Fund will provide support that will exist in perpetuity to aid upper school students with financial need with tuition and other costs associated with their Friends Select experience.

Alumni, faculty, and staff who knew Josie have shared, “She was like a mom to me at school,”and “she was one of those people who just made you feel safe.” She was a mentor, confidante, and friend to so many. She took the time to know students; she saw their potential and advised them at school and for years following graduation. Her office door was always open for advice or a chat.

From a secretary in the development office to the upper school registrar, Josie touched the lives of everyone she encountered, especially our students. Josie Whitlock was employed at Friends Select School for nearly 40 years, from 1973-2010s.

To honor her memory and the role she played in the Friends Select community, a group of alumni have come together to start an endowed fund in Josie’s name.

Join us in honoring Josie’s legacy and making this endowment fund a reality!
